Week Two Reading

Charlie Bone and The Invisible Boy
Pages 55-100

I really enjoyed reading these few chapters in the book. It was leading the reader on and I didn't know what was going to happen next. I really wanted to keep on reading to see what would eventually happen. Charlie and his friends are talking to one of the teachers and discover a note on his desk. It is from his dad and it is about his brother who is missing. Now Charlie and his friends believe that there is someone up in the attic that is invisible. They go up to the attic and they find the invisible person. The person is actually the teacher's brother. They were right on who they thought it was. Charlie talks to him and he wants the two brothers to meet. They come up with a plan to get him downstairs without being noticed. He has tried a couple of times to go downstairs, but people always bump into him and freak out. The invisible guys name is Ollie Sparks and he found out something that no one should know about so he got tortured. A boa would squeeze him not to kill him just to put him in pain. The boa however squeezed him so hard that he became invisible except for one of his toes. They plan to meet each other down in the cafeteria and Charlie saves a spot for Ollie. He gets there and he lets Charlie know that he is there. Anything Ollie touches turns invisible too. When he was eating the food was disappearing and one of the students noticed and said something. No one did anything, until someone dropped a spoon or something and saw a big toe just by itself. The girl freaked out and Ollie had to run away.
